it was poorly written and poorly graded. anyway, what can you do?

Ms Wells---

It is not so much about an actual grade you make during the couse of a "course"; More that you stick with the program and continue your pursuit.

EXAMPLE: 1972 found me in English 101 at a junior college. The instructor faced 32 eager students the first day of class. The assignment was handed out.

The next day we all turned in our compositions frantically scribbled in our 5 cent "blue books."

On the third day of class the anxiety of actually receiving the grades for our previous day's effort was thick. Then it was totally silent as each student was swiftly handed their graded composition. D, D-, C--, F, F, and then mine D+. Hence the silence was truly deafening.

The fourth day of English 101 was greeted with a meager band of 16 brave young souls, me included. Some remained salwart until the end and kept up with what the professor dealt out each day. The grades continued to be harsh and many lessons were indeed studied way into the night.

Upon close of that college quarter in English 101, the class size had dwindled down to about nine as best I recall. Final grades for everyone left fell no lower than C+.

The point in college so many times remains true; It is not the grades along the way... Just being in finishing group allows you to attain your best effort reward... A much better than expected grade. Professors know what deserving dedicated students need to become better prepared for the real world out there.
